Nice place.
Really quiet. There are only 2 spots so you need to be early. Behind the Cricket Ground there is a small lake where you can swim (with the locals), which was really nice. No toilets near by but if you are self contained it's not a problem.

We choose this site because we needed a powered site for the first night.
The location is nice, near by the beach. There is a Coffee bar close by. The facilities are not that special and the location is a little far from the city center.

Beautiful campsite with a lot of privacy.
We stayed there for two nights because of the shuttle bus to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. The shuttle bus will pick you up in front of the reception. Really nice. The kitchen is good. We used the wasmachine but there was only one because the other one was broken. This was not enough for so many people. There is a drying room which was really nice.

The hot pools are really nice. The toilets and showers are really old but they are scheduled to be renovated this year.

It's a campsite on a good location.
The campsite itself is nog so special. It's just a parking area with a lot campers. It's fine for one or two nights. Be there before 18u because everyone is going there. The public toilets are really dirty.

Nice camping with a Coffee bar and a good restaurant.
We enjoyed the evening in the restaurant. There was even live music that night. One thing what could be better: the shower. You only have 5 minuten to shower and it is a little small and not that clean.

A spot close to the city center.
You can take the bus (really close) and visit the city. It's just a parking spot so not that special. Good if you want to stay in the city center or close by the ferry. There are clean toilets at the parking area.

Great campsite.
Beautiful spot. Very kind host with a lot of tips. Only thing: there were a lot of fly's in the toilet in the evening. A little bit dirty.
