Large area, all very flat, with an impressive amount of shade.
We managed to find a spot even on the long weekend. Clean flush toilets. We didn't use the BBQ but other families were.

Best freedom camping.
Clean water, the CLEANEST bathrooms and you can even catch the wifi from the library across the street and there's a sink to do your dishes. The train station vibe was very cute too.
10/10 must stay on the way back from Milford

Huge camp place, about half the toilets were out of service and the other half were really really stinky.
I suspect it's popular campsite since it's the closest to Milford.
We also had insane bugs the end of January but we parked by the river in an effort to find some shade so that might have been why.
