Best campsite we’ve been to so far in our trip across NZ.
More like a getaway retreat rather than a campsite. Also, surprisingly cheap for how nice it is, how many top tier amenities there are, and in comparison to some campsites 3 dollars less it blows them out of the water. Usually have stayed 1 night at a site, but we extended to 2 nights just to have a day of relaxation and enjoy the amenities that have been severely lacking while on the campervan trip

Absolute egregious price for what it has.
Yes the amenities were nice in comparison to some sites, but not $45 per person nice. And that is for an unpowered spot on the grass. 45… We had better campsites for several dollars less than half of that. I understand that it’s one of few sites in the area so they can and will charge a bit more, but we have not encountered any place even close to $45 pp per night in the entire South Island
