Some of the ground is quite muddy.
It has two portaloos as toilets which were both surprisingly clean. I would suggest to get in early because it does fill up quickly but lots of people did manage to fit. The river is very nice nearby. Would have preferred this campsite if the lower area was open.

The beach is really nice but the price is very high for what you get.
$20 a night and no fresh water, paid showers, ground is quite bumpy and a bit boggy in places (start of jan). No kitchen area or anything. It isn’t a bad campsite, just a high price for what you get.

Nice place.
I think there were a few per nana at campers. Facilities were tidy and even though there were lots of people staying, the kitchen and bathroom was always very quiet. Right on the lake side

This was a nice place to stay the night.
Owners were really lovely and accommodating when someone else was already in our campsite. Some of the facilities could be updated but nothing urgent, still fine. Free wifi was a nice touch, wasn’t expecting it. Campsites maybe slightly on the smaller size but there is still plenty of space in front and no set lines to stay in.

This was a very nice, clean, tidy place.
A lot of permanent residents with their own cats. It is pretty quiet and might not be the best place for children because of this. The place is mostly for caravans/campervans and has cabins but they do have some tent sites. Some are a little small but fit everything you need, but if you have a bigger tent might be something to be aware of. Overall, was impressed by the facilities and the general tidyness of the place.

Toilets were clean enough. Lots of area for renting and camper and. Plus there were a few places for power even though it is a free campsite

Not sure if it was just the night we were there but was very windy.
It was a nice spot and what you would expect for a free campsite. Also just a bit odd that you can only camp on a small sectioned area even though there is lots of other space

A lovely little spot.
The owners were lovely and you could tell cared about the little place. Cheap price per night and free showers etc.
