The place is very nice but it's $75 per person including overnight camping.
The staff are lovely and you can access the spa for 24 hours. They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

We didn't park on the beach but in the small parking area.
The sea was very rough but was pleasant to fall asleep to. Bins provided. It you are a light sleeper you can hear the road and freight trains.

It's a nice spot it gets filled early.
There is a donation box. Loos ok, rubbish bins and friendly weka.
The sandflies are annoying.
We also thought the people in the boats were a bit inconsiderate to the swimmers.

One of our favourite spots to camp.
Clean loos, plenty of space but it does get busy. We snorkeled in the lagoon and saw some sea slugs, massive sea stars and collected mussels for tea. The sea here was calm enough to swim in and is very clear.

After a beautiful sunset and settled in for the night along come the young people with music blaring and revving their engines, after 1 am it finally got quite.
I'd have gone out and asked them to be more considerate but hubby had fallen asleep on top of my false leg and slept through it all.

A lovely spot to stop, very clean drop toilets, lots of information about the area and plenty of wildlife too.
There are 2 post which you have to park between. We saw the southern lights there day 2. Plenty of bin by the toilets.

Spent 2 nights it's very peaceful, it does get busy during the weekend with people coming to watch the dame open.
Remember to bring loo roll.

A beautiful view when the clouds lift.
The walk to the pools is steep in places and some of the steps are very high. There seemed to be a lot of files about. It was very peaceful and we had an amazing sunrise on both mornings. The men's loo were clean but the ladies were disgusting. We had neighbours both nights and slept very well.

When we arrived due to the rain it was very boggy too much for us and a smaller van to use, literally just off the road.
Would be great in dryer weather.
