Awesome place!
Toilet (long drop) are tidy, and sanitizer are available as well as toilet paper.
Parkings are level.
Spark 4G works well.
Not crowded at all!
Wild roosters and hens around (never seen that before) but they aren’t annoying at all.

Parking slot extremely narrow for large campervan (see photo) Nearest toilets are all closed, I had to walk 15-20 minutes to find one.

Best low cost campsite so far.
10$ for the night
+ 10$ for the powered campsite.
All the amenities you need for low cost.
Be sure to have a Kiwi card/key before entering the site.
You can also park free in the park and ride, and use the amenities, but you’ll need a kiwi card to enable service.

The only reason this campsite is busy is because there is no free campsite near Wanaka.
Bring your own soap or hand sanitizer in the toilet, the soap distributor are never filled up.

Does the job as a free camp site.
The view from the lookout is quite something.
Cons: The parking is really not level.
There was like 200 flies in the toilet.

An okay spot when you have no other choices Loud music till 11 pm Drunk people knocking hard at door of every campervan at 2 am (same story again and again, probably some angry young locals) You have
to leave early (rangers were knocking at our door at 5:45 am on sunday)
We didn’t sleep so well !
