Great with kids, lot’s of animals!!
The showers are not on the grass area where you camp, the are near the shearing shed so a bit hidden.
A bit pricy but still cheap than any other option around Auckland!

Unpersonal as you do a self check in.
Hot showers ok. Convenient kitchen. Basic lounge area. Amenities closed between 10am and 1pm for cleaning with no other toilet available 😱.
Lady not very friendly.
Camping area ok but grass area soaking wet when raining.

The nicest campsite we stayed so far.
Everything is spotless! Our son loved the playground and got to meet lot’s of friends to play with.
Well worth the money i would say!

You can’t expect luxury…
Big kitchen which was nice in rainy weather.
Toilets and showers small and not cleaned while we were there…
Short of staff so bar and resto opened later and closed early…

Drive in the designated areas. Enough space. Good showers, fairly new. Nice walk around the reserve.
