This market runs every Saturday from 6:30 til around 9:30 at the Big carpark in the Centre of town - rain or shine.
Best time to be there is around 7:30 It's a huge market with lots of stalls and you can get anything from fresh fruit and veges, eggs, fish, plants, cheese, organic meats, oysters, music and much more. Well worth a visit if you're in town on a Saturday.

This track is a great uphill hike which will take you around 1 1/2 hour in total.
There is a fantastic viewpoint about 2/3 of the way up where you can take a well earned rest. The track itself is nice and wide and gravelled all the way up - incl a fair few stepways onthe way. Steps a nice and wide so not hard on the knees coming down! When you get right to the top climb on the big volcanic rock for a huge 360 view as far as you can see.

This track basically stretches the whole length of Bream Head Scenic Reserve.
We "cheated" and started at the Peach Cove car park which made it a 4 hour loop track for us. Amazing volcanic peaks at 465 above sealevel where you can get right on top for a 360 degree amazing view. You will end up walking down the ridge towards Ocean Beach and will be able to see more than 6 km of white sandy beach before you. This is just the most stunning and best kept secret of Northland, New Zealand. And it's free!!

Drive out to the Bream Head Scenic Reserve and you'll find a variety of walks - all different levels.
The Busby Head Track starts off from Urghuarts Bay, is a loop track and takes around 1 1/2 hour. You will walk through farmland, through bush and along the beach at Smugglers Cove. Fantastic views all around and the track is nice and wide with gravel on it. Highly reccommended....
