Best location to visit the penguin colony, the Event come to the campground at bight and we saw some on the street in the late evening.
City centre and brewery are also in walking Distanzen.

Loved it.
Might be the best location, because the scenery was so stunning. There were a lot of mosquitos though due to the river close by. Basic toilet is on site. We could simple pay by Petting Cash in an envelope and put it in a Box there. It was ver, peaceful and is great for walks.

Nice beach but from our point of view these were just round stones in the sand ;).

Probably the best stop we had with our fully self contained campervan.
It was cold but not too much. The stars were amazing above this perfect mountain. Be aware that this is a carpark with toilets but no wifi or Otter amenities.

Our first Top Ten in NZ.
Great and clean facilities, 10min walk to hot water beach and you can rent a spare for the beach. Laundry facilities were good and our grassy campground was beautiful.

We arrived at midnight with the last ferry and booked in advance.
There was a note for us at the entrance where to stay. As all Top10 parks there were a lot of facilities. Showers were clean, though a bit old.

We came here because we couldnt stay on free campgrounds in the city.
Honestly if you hope to get a free spot in the City to catchthe ferry, you should really be there early noon. We chose Top Ten and it had all facilities you wish for, it was clean and staff was lovely!

Speaking for a powered campsite, everything was well organised, fresh water ,dump station and laundry available.
Did the tongariro crossing and booked for 2 nights.

Good location, not noisy at all!
Everything is nearby. Also if needed, there was a recycling station and public toilets. Kaikoura is one of the best spots in my opinion.

Great spot, the tourist info, water taxi and little shop is just at the opposite street.
Had a powered site. Facilities were clean and the campground is beautifully located near the beach. If you want to start your walks to Abel Tasman, this might be one of the best places to stay.
