Absolutely brilliant.

We booked to take an 18 day trip around the South Island. Wilderness really seem to care that you have a great time. NZ Frenzy guide pdf on booking really helped us plan our trip and see less traveled spots. Vehicle booking out process was really thorough so we were confident we knew what we were doing even though we had never used a motorhome before. Motorhome was only around one year old and received really clean and well equipped. It was really easy to drive so we all had a go (multiple drivers are at no extra cost). We had the king/twin model that was suitable for two couples or a couple plus two. The staff were super friendly both on booking out and returning the vehicle and really helpful when I made an internet booking error. The shuttle service from the nearby (airport) hotels / airport was also really helpful to us. We had a super experience and will hire again from Wilderness when we return to New Zealand.
