Great spot with a beautiful view and perfect to start a walk and spot sealions.
Very exposed so super windy. Toilets available and very clean but no place for dishes (opposite to earlier reviews).

Great spot if you come from the ferry.
Beautifully located on the riverbank. Toilets are a far walk and okay regarding cleanliness. No toiletpaper. We were only 2 vans but heaps of space.

Good spot if it is not to windy.
Toilet is open al night and was very clean. I can use half an hour of free wifi from the DOC visitors center. Beautiful view on MT Taranaki and amazing stargazing at night.

The spot is beautiful between the giant trees.
We were the only ones camping here, space for around 5 vans. Two long drop toilets, no toilet paper. There is a tap for water (not for drinking) but with very low pressure. We had no problems driving up the road with our small campervan

Good spot with lovely hosts.
Great hot showers, possible to do laundry here, unlimited wifi and a HUGE well equiped kitchen and a bbq. Big playground and zipline for kids.

Good spot but only go there if you are very early in the day.
Very small for a big city as Rotorua. We traveled in October outside school holidays and had no spot.
