Don't go for the Lady Knox geyser.

The park is wonderful, colours are amazing, setting is amazing, not commercial with a natural setting and minimal fencing along the walkways. I loved it

Our experience with Wilderness was brilliant.

From the website and booking, for all communication (our request to change dates etc), collection, equipment - everything. We were picked up taxi (free) from our hotel in Auckland and taken to the office. There were welcome messages for the nerw customers, which was a nice touch.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional and we had a brief, but informative, introduction to the what we'd signed up for, insurance (what was covered etc etc) our van and emergency contacts. There was a delay in our vehicle being ready but we were kept updated and provided with tea, crisps, facilties etc and it was during the Rugby World Cup so we weren't overly bothered.

We hit the road and it was really like home-from-home, the van had everything you need - all clean, new and functioning. It was easy to drive and the bed was comfortable and the bedding warm enough for the cold NZ nights.

We absolutely loved the whole experience and we would definitely use Wilderness again and again and will recommend them to everyone.
