Beautiful campsite right on the lake.
Thoughtfully designed, non-timed showers! The facilities were all very clean and plentiful space in the kitchen/dining area. The view from the deck is outstanding! Hardstand sites, with water available on each pitch. You can walk along the lakeside all the way into town, and it’s a beautiful walk. Highly recommend ☺️

This place is a bit odd but all in all fine!
Sites are a bit hit and miss, some very sloped/uneven. There seem to mainly people living there permanently or storing their vans there, so can feel a bit isolated! Facilities are basic, but very clean. Would stay if you’re passing through but it’s not a destination!

Site is a half hour walk into Wanaka, facilities are good, nice showers!
But we got put in a bit of a dud powered site right opposite the toilets which was very small and people are constantly walking past - also there was no picnic bench. Over all the park itself is small, fine for a night, but might be a bit of a pain for anymore than that.

Great location right in town.
Unfortunately I don’t really have anything else good to say! The showers are unisex, which is fine, but they’re also $1 for 5 mins- the only place we had to pay in NZ. The kitchen was tiny and grubby, and smelled like bins! Nice cat though ☺️

Wonderful location right on the lake, easy walk into town.
Facilities are good, nice showers, kitchen is a bit small, and dining room is in a different building - could be a bit tricky if it’s really busy. But overall, nice and clean.
