Don't use google maps to drive to the start of the walk.
We couldn't find the entrance road to the car park and so did the woodland walk instead (which is very nice). The car park seems to be off Jollies Old Road (we found this out after our walk).

Really lovely campground.
The facilities provided are the best we saw in NZ. Games room for kids & TV room for entertainment - we arrived just before a storm hit so this was very much appreciated. Great shower & laundry facilities. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

Nice wee campground.
Limited parking so would book if coming at a busy time. Shower & toilet facilities are lovely - there was even a hairdryer provided! Right in the middle of Franz Josef so great for accessing activities there or just having a wander around the town.
It is great to hear you liked our central location and site. We hope you can stay again soon.

Such a nice walk!
Fairly flat - easy for all types of walkers & could do in trainers. Lovely scenes of mountains & lake. We parked on Rutherford Road which carpark at the end of it. There was also another car park off the main road which is a decent size.

Very nice campground.
Toilets & showers were nice & very clean. Heaps of space for parking. Right on a gorgeous beach & perfect for walks around Abel Tasman - we did the Separation Point & it was stunning!

Very secluded. 3 working toilets that are decent. You can find the campground on google maps which is very handy.

Queenstown Hill Time Walk

Very steep walk but definitely worth it for the views.
Basket of dreams (possibly stop off) is not far from the top so would recommend walking up to the summit as the views of the mountains are spectacular. You can't actually see much of Queenstown, but the surrounding nature is stunning.

Handy spot - we stopped as a mid-point between Picton & Abel Tasman.
Smell wasn't as bad as made out to be on previous comments. Nice views considering between industrial centre. Picnic tables & toilets. There is also a dump & refill station. Would use again.

Very exposed to elements as right beside the water.
It was relatively windy when we parked here & the campervan was swaying quite a lot during the night. There are toilets which are nice.

Lovely campground overall.
Great facilities & nice staff at reception. The only thing is that there is a limitation on the wifi you are provided with - only 1GB per device per day.
Quite busy in winter so would definitely consider booking if visiting at a busier time in the year.

Very overpriced for what you actually get.
$60ish for a powered site for 3 adults. Have to pay for wifi & showers (hot water). The tone of the 'rules' you need to stand by is quite abrupt in comparison to other sites. Quite busy in winter so would definitely consider booking if coming at a busier time.
