Reid’s farm is closed to campers however the area right next to it was open.
We got there at night and there was quite a few other campers, probably because Reid’s was shut. We drove over to Reid’s when the gates were opened in the morning and used the dishwashing station which was really handy. Beautiful spot on the water with lots of ducks and swans. Was a few minutes to the falls as well so good location.

Convenient spot to camp in our van before going back to aukland.
Toilets were clean so was the space, only downside was the dump station only had non potable water so no refills for us.

Perfect for self contained vehicles.
Quite remote, we too had our doubts that it existed but follow the road until you see it in your right. Took about half an hour from the turn off. There was no one there when we visited in July. Could hear the Kiwi’s at night which was awesome.

Beautiful campsite right next to the Pinnacles walk.
We did the streambed walk to the Pinnacles at around 8am before anyone arrived. Camp site was quite boggy but there had been a lot of rain! The maps will tell you to turn right but turn left to find the camp site ! Beautiful to hear the creek and ocean at night.
