Great spot right by the lake.
The toilets (long drop) are about a 5 minute walk from the camp. There is a nice lake walk you can do which takes you all the way around the lake although part of it was closed when I went so couldn’t do the full loop. Lots of pukeko

What a gem!
Beautiful spot surrounded by the bush. No road noise, just the sound of trees and birds. There are long drop toilets which aren’t too bad and a cold shower. Nice little kauri tree walk as well.

Really nice spot in summer!
Not too sure how it would be in winter as it’s basically a big grassy field. Lots of space and nice to be surrounded by trees. No toilets so you would need to have your own
