I booked online from London through Holiday Autos.

When I got to the Auckland city pick up I was told by Mode as I had no NZ phone number they could not rent to me. I found this surprising but as I was jet lagged and had not been in NZ I accepted despite thinking it was odd. I did confirm I would not get charged. I went to Ezi who rented to be straight away. Do not touch mode or holiday autos. They debited by credit card company after denying me a car. I have reported it but they basically ignore me.
