One of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever been to.
The water was so clear and you can smell the Manuka while your swimming. The campground has very basic facilities (cold shower and long drop) but they’re very clean and all you need. There’s a beautiful walk to the cape reinga lighthouse from the end of the beach, 3hr return. Will be back here for sure.

Beautiful beach with lots of interesting history.
Allocated camping spots which was great so you get enough space yourself - most spots had an ocean view. Facilities were fine, although the furniture in the table tennis room was falling apart and the showers were a bit run down. Other than that, enjoyed my stay!

Awesome spot right on the beach.
You can either park up on the grass or under some shady pine trees. Plenty of space. Great public toilet, rubbish bins and dump spot nearby.

Great spot for vans/motorhomes.
No kitchen facilities though, so not ideal for campers. Easy walks to Paihia and Waitangi. Really helpful staff.

Awesome holiday spot, with great facilities that were also very clean/tidy.
Also enough space to find a quiet spot if your camping.
