Really nice spot next to scenic rugged beach (too rough for swimming but stunning scenery).
Lots of spaces, price was $8 per person to be paid by cash. Clean flushing toilets, sinks, and even a couple of cold showers. Would definitely stay here again, and easier access than going over the extremely long and windey gravel road to Robin Hood bay (which had no taps). Has walks to do nearby too. Also noticed fewer mosquitos here than at other sites which was a bonus

Very large site with plenty of space even in the middle of the summer break.
Long drop toilets are alright, and had toilet paper. Taps for water, but it advised to boil before consuming. Great spot for swimming in the river, and lots of walks and tramps to do with various levels of difficulty. Our site got a little bit windy, but we weren’t in a particularly sheltered spot. Friendly people, we paid $8 per adult per night, and you can either pay exact cash into a drop box or visit the ranger and pay via card. We’ll definitely be back.

Nice campsite with plenty of spaces, and was quiet and peaceful.
Long drop was not in the best condition but not bad, remember your own toilet paper. Great access down a little hill to a beautiful part of the river. Amazing for swims. Lots of mosquitoes though so load up on repellant. No water taps that we could see

Just a small car park, with 4 car spaces for campervans.
Beside the water but not exactly scenic, we were unsure why this spot had such a high rating. As soon as night fell a bunch of loud boy racer cars turned up and the people were loud, having some sort of car meet. There are toilets, but that’s about it. Wouldn’t go back.
