I did the “Uenuku Falls Halfie” trip with my two young adult daughters.

It was a fantastic day out and I would say it is one of the best outdoor activities I’ve ever done with my family. Four abseils, including over and down into waterfalls, water jumps and wading through rivers and streams, and tramping in the bush. This tour was perfect for us, and our guide Wayne was amazing. It is professionally and safely run but all the adventure you want is there, too. All the gear we needed was supplied, as was a good lunch and snacks. Also—and importantly for memories--lots of high-quality photos are taken during the tour and these are sent to you free of charge! Very much appreciated. In addition to challenging ourselves to try new things and the thrills involved, the waterfalls we encountered along the way were beautiful and can only be experienced if you do Canyonz tour. NZ tourism needs our support now and this would be the perfect family activity to do with kids who are teens or young adults, or as a couple or with friends. Thanks to Wayne and everyone.
