Clean, organised and very friendly, however not the right location for us, to get to the hot water beach you need to drive and having a rooftop tent setup with gazebo’s we like to be able to walk everywhere
. Make sure if you choose to stay here you are fully stocked up on food as the local shop is very basic with lots of empty shelves when we went. Was a good spot to shower, catch up on washing and charging batteries, then for us it was time to head off to explore more of our great country. Thank you for your friendly hospitality.

MUST STAY HERE- True kiwi camping gem - incredibly relaxed environment, friendly hosts that keep the facilities lovely and clean.
You are free to choose your camping spot with plenty of space. So many different areas giving everyone their own little slice of heaven next to the running stream. 100% we WILL be back! Remember your walking shoes as the stunning west coast beach is a 10-15mins walk over farm land. Shhh… I found cell phone reception on the last hill before the beach. But life without reception is so so relaxing!!! Thank you Ruapuke 🏕
