Lots of motor homes and campervans were there when I pulled in so it's a popular place.
There was still lots of room for me. Felt safe which is a plus for a freedom camping place. Toilet block down one end (didn't visit) and a long drop down the other. Wasn't nasty but it could've done with a clean. Woke up to a spectacular view. Quiet even though it's beside main road. A definite spot to revisit.

I stayed here on my own, early November.
I felt safe and there were only a couple of other campers parked here. It's basically a big paddock but I parked beside the flowering foxgloves which were so pretty. The peacock was an added bonus!!! No toilets. Short drive to Takaka. Beautiful spot.
