Stayed 2 nights in DeBretts camping park and had a powered site for our camper van.
The park was pretty much empty so we could choose a spot and the sites were well separated by well cared for hedges and trees.
The park is at the pricier end of the range, but you get discounts to the wonderful hot pools and de bretts baths just a short walk away.
The camp ground is extremely well maintained, the staff very polite and helpful and the location great with views of the lake and mountains.
The top marks from us go to the showers and kitchen areas. Immaculately maintained, everything is new and works well and all in excellent and very hygienic condition.
We were very glad we stayed here.

Absolutely fantastic location.
Facilities are very well maintained and the staff were excellent. We had a dog so we replaced at the western end but given that the camp was virtually empty, it didn’t matter at all. Reasonably pricey but everything was provided. I am sure that in the Xmas-new year season, this camp would be packed to the limit and facilities would be stretched. Amazing beach and camp ground is literally 50 metres from the beach. Recommended but avoid the peak season !

Well appointed camp ground with very clean and tidy facilities.
Close to a simply amazing beach. Ideal camping ground for your summer relax and recuperation spot. Very family friendly. We were in a camper van and used a powered site so a simple one night visit.
Staff were efficient but not overly welcoming. Kind of seemed like they wanted to get back to dinner. However the facilities and the little touches (flowers and music in ablution blocks) were a great touch.
