Owners are super friendly and very relaxed.
$35 for powered site and could choose any free spot. Kitchen is amazing with a beautiful view of the river. Only thing is the $2 charge for a shower but I suppose that makes up for the cheaper nightly rate. There were many bugs around so ensure your have bug cream or spray. $2 per washing and dryer. Would def recommend and return if I ever get the chance.

Staff running it were friendly but the way they spoke about the owner made me think they were almost scared of him.
Saw him in the morning and now I understand why! Quite a cramped spot, nice and very well I must add. But with a owner like that I’d expect it to be no less. Wouldn’t return due to the energy and vibe from the owner who apparently comes down every morning to “check” his camp.

Excellent place and camp owner/manager very pleasant.
Noticed he was always out cleaning the area. Stayed non power near the road. Didn’t hear a thing. Facilities are great.

Nice spot.
A little outdated kitchen. Wifi not so great considering you had to pay for it. There’s a permanent resident on site and it looks quite shabby. I would recommend moving him to a spot that’s not so visible or have him tidy his area up.

Enjoyed my stay.
Very small town, but a beautiful spot. Host very accomodating. Permanent residents are also awesome. unpowered site for $15 and how great are some that are hedged off!! Also great facilities especially the nice hot shower. Also had fish n chips at the Herbertville Inn. Reasonable prices and fast service.

Myself and baby goat stopped in there initially for 1 night.
Place is so beautiful I ended up staying for 2. Camp is right on the beach and the beach is amazing! $25 p/n for unpowered site. The facilities are super clean and way above average! The permanent residents are also super friendly. Would def recommend 😊.

Quiet Spot.
Hosts are friendly $25 unpowered site. Views of sunrise and sunset are great
