Spent ten nights here over Xmas New Year period.
Friendly owners were very helpful. Facilities were very clean. Sites were tidy with plenty of room. Bonus was they allow dogs!! Next door is a park where you can walk your dogs off lead.

Basic camp ground.
Lots of permanents and long stayers but still room for short term stays. Power sites, cabins and big field area for unpowered visitors. Ablutions clean. Playground a bit old but still looked ok. On the edge of town, nothing to see in walking distance. Allowed our dog which was good. Price was costly at $50 for powered site for two of us. NZMCA members get $4 discount.
Couple of great off lead areas in Feilding for our dog. 16km drive to PNth.

Lovely quiet place.
Few trees giving natural shade. Lovely lady at office directed us to site. Toilets and showers clean. Access to river through gate. However the river bank is incredibly overgrown and you have walk awhile (5-10 mins) before finding the water. This area is great for running your dogs off lead though.
Definitely come again.

Stayed for 2 nights in powered site in our caravan.
Plenty of sites, basically a big open area. Toilets (men’s and ladies) basic but useable. Two showers in separate room. Didn’t use kitchen as we cooked by our van. Close to river with popular swimming hole. Had extra flush toilets there for swimmers which was handy. We camped under huge trees at the end for their shade. Also next to bush area with marked tracks throughout for short walks. Great for dogs.
Picnic tables scattered around campsite,
In all, basic place but enjoyed it because it was simple and quiet.
Paid $40 for 2 pax powered site.

Very impressed with this camp.
Were given the choice of where to put our caravan and shown the facilities on arrival. Great kids playground with trampolines. Pool table and table tennis set up. Usual kitchen and laundry. Bathrooms were pristine condition. There were lots of permanent sites there and the people we met in them were friendly and helpful. There is a small reserve behind, perfect for a dog to have a run around. It’s a short walk to the beach. The creek at the back of the grounds had whitebaiters set up. In all, highly recommended.
