Large area under the pine trees to park up.
Only 25mins to Picton so great when getting off the Ferry. Long drop toilets are a short walk away. Also walking distance to the beach. Nice area not far off the main road which makes for a nice quiet spot.

Clean toilets, large space, beautiful flat grass area next to the site. Highly reccomend.

Great place to stay.
Loved it here. Nice place to park on the grass however make sure you are between signs we were slightly out of the sign posted area and got asked to squeeze in closer. Toilets are a short walk away however very clean facilities. Cold shower to wash off and nice safe place to swim. Local takeaway shop just across the road if you dont feel like cooking.

Nice spot just off the road.
Large carpark area can fit quite a few camper vans however did full up by about 4pm. Nice clean toilet and close to beach. Small area on grass behind parking to sit down and relax. Close to the road however seemed to be quite peaceful at night.

Perfect spot.
Short walk to the beach, clean toilets, dump station and clean drinking water avalible. Very safe spot. Playground in the park, awesome for families. Can fit about 8 campers depending on size. Beautiful beach with some amazing shells. Coffee truck pulls up in the morning for all those who need there morning fix. Loved it here and would highly reccomend.

Nice grass parking area though can only fit about 6 camper vans.
Large area with boat ramp facilities so most of the space is used as boat trailer parking. Clean toilet with no lighting need a touch. All freedom campers were also given local council rubbish bags and info on the area which was very helpful.

Nice large parking area right next to the marina.
Great spot to stay for a night. Sat on the rocks just on our doorstep and fished for the afternoon along with most of the other campers. Clean toilets only a short walk away. Also a nice little takeaway shop in the Marina. Only downside was quite a bit of noise early in the morning due to the boat ramp. But would be happy to stay here again.

Great place to stay.
Long drop toilet however very clean and tidy. Beautiful spot to swim and cool off. You can also watch the kyakers and Whitewater rafters go down the river. We ended up staying 2 nights here as found it much nicer than staying in Rotorua. Expecially on a hot day. Only downfall was no Vodafone reception in the area.
