Nice little place to stop off.
The owner was lovely and welcoming. Rankers said pets allowed however the owner said no dogs. Luckily we could let our dogs sleep in the van. Amenities were simple. We booked a room and it provided shelter for the night - very noisy with people next door though (could hear every word and movement)

We turned up on New Year’s Eve and found this place.
There are power parks available behind the building but we didn’t need power so parked on the lawn at the front. You can pay via online banking and tents are allowed. There are very run down showers and toilets but in the town center there are brand new, free, clean toilets and showers. Such a cool spot nestled amongst the trees. The two locals pubs were great too!

Great camp ground - would be especially hood with children as there are so many animals to see.
Very clean facilities and kitchen was well equipped. Reasonable price for what you get

Such a beautiful DOC campsite that allows dogs.
Right on the shores of lake Wanaka - a place to take a refreshing dip as there are no showers. Well maintained and of course, worth the $8pp! You do need to book lines before hand though as there isn’t any phone signal out there.

Great little camp site, close to the beach and immaculate facilities a to use.
The hosts had eftpos and allowed use to get coins out for the showers. Allowed our dogs which was awesome!
