Beautiful spot, possibility to see Kiwi.

We were unlucky but we sure heard them! Unfortunately we also heard the camp host's and other's background music a good portion of the day.

Don't expect the much vaunted hot showers in peak season. With approx 60 people onsite, hot water runs out pretty quick. Flush toilets are not a plus either- clean enough but 3 toilets could not cope with 60 visitors and backed up on 3rd day, at which point we left early.

TLDR: OK for a night, not for longer.
