Lovely place.
Lot of bathroom and kitchen space and facilities. Very clean and spotless. Nice deck and patio area with BBQ. Kids playground, birds in aviaries and pet cats for those like me missing their furbabies. Friendly owners. And the hot water system is on coal so there is a lovely coal smell occasionally permeating the air- seems appropriate in Westport.
This is a Kiwi holiday park.

Nice friendly campsite.
$18 for 1 person in non powered site. Facilities very clean. Helpful host on arrival explained a few points of interest and walks in the area and checked if I was going north or south before recommending further afield brochures. Good place to stopover when passing though or if you have a caving trip booked as I do.

Friendly, clean campsite. Opposite a path to the beach which was nice. Good wifi and owner helpful.

Great place.
Large kitchen facilities. Super hot water in shower. Lots of space on the huge domain for parking so plenty of room between vehicles. Very reasonable and right in town.

What a wonderful place!
Grounds simply beautiful and well maintained. Quirky wooden animals and drawings add character. Friendly owners. Lots of friendly animals to feed. I stayed one night in a cabin on way to Te Anau/Milford as the weather was chilly. Went back again for one night in non-powered paddock on way back as enjoyed it so much. Large, clean facilities and on my second visit the hens had kindly donated lots of free range eggs in the kitchen.

Sensational!
Very large, clean kitchens. Underfloor heating in the bathroom, lots of nice extras like the Herb Garden. Meticulously clean. Nice & quiet. In the suburbs, a supermarket near, but a drive or good walk to town.

Wonderful, tranquil place.
Stayed a second night I enjoyed it so much. Right on the edge of Surat Bay- beach walking at low tide to see Sealions of which I saw four. Lovely sunsets. Clean facilities and friendly owners.
Good espresso coffee available just around the corner.

Lovely place!
Nestled on the edge of the forest so stunning surroundings. Stayed 1 night in non powered site- quiet and enjoyable. Owners friendly & helpful- helped me out with some milk as dairy had shut. Older facilities, but very clean and all you need is there.

Decided to give this place a go despite the mixed reviews.
Absolutely fine and in a stunning location. Yes, a bit more expensive than I’ve paid in other places ($30 non power site), but large spacious site and very privately all tucked into the flax- which was a bonus when the wind picked up.
Lovely beach and waited to try and see penguins coming in, but no luck. Started raining heavily overnight and so left early in the morning.
Large kitchen area with pots and pans etc, but no cutlery that I could see. Bathrooms were clean with coin operated showers.
