Great campsite!
Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and a really nice view of the bay! It is located on a hill and the walk into the town is a few minutes downhill (which means a fairly steep walk back up to the campsite!), just a heads up!

Good place to camp for free!
Big area, and close to town. There was a toilet but I didn’t use it so can’t give review on that. There’s a picnic table too.

Friendly staff and a nice big campground.
Price was $42 for 2 people in a powered site. However, you have to pay $0.50 per 3 minutes in the showers (and we had a couple issues working them - eg our coin was eaten but no hot water came out). I find it sort of ridiculous that we have to pay extra to use the facilities we paid $42 for, but that’s just me.
You can purchase 10GB of wifi for $5 which is very reasonable.
Bit of a walk into the town/beach (versus the other campsite that it directly across from the beach), but good if you’re wanting to go to the mountain bike trail.

Nice place in a great location that’s only a short walk into downtown Queenstown.
Friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it.

Great experience!
We got a combo “Wet & Wild” which paid for our entry into the Hot Pools and the Kiwi Wildlife Centre. Definitely recommend
