Great stop off point to the Catlins.
At $10 per person the campground, well you get what you pay for. Functional.
The $2 shower seemed to last forever. Good wifi. Kitchen did not have stoves which was a shame as ran out of gas and he can no longer provide pizzas or breakfast.
I recommend you go to the bake house in Owaka
Awesome burgers. Better than Ferg burgers.

Kiwi just travelling thru and stayed overnight.
Very quiet probably due to Covid.
But the reviews really are correct.
I have read reviews and alot by overseas travellers so they make a fuss of showers. WiFi etc.
So the showers here are free, no time limit, super clean but what I liked is they are roomy. Not like some where you have a hard time just getting round the cubical door and then where do you put your stuff. Not an issue here. The shower cubicles are huge.
Free wifi 500gb. Fair enough.
Kitchen fully equipped. Some places don't have pots pans plates etc. Got everything. Nice dining room next to kitchen with TV.
Super quiet.
Nice lady running it.
I will come back.
