Average.
5 minute shower is $1. Laundry is $2. Drying the clothes $4. They do have clothes lines to be fair. The site cost me $60 for a camper and the 4 of us. What that $60 covered since we have to pay for everything I don’t know. But.... nice spot beside a beautiful stream. Only a short walk along a nice track to a 4 Square and takeaways and also a nice kitchen area. But still....Average.

Has this place changed owners and names?
Now called Tui Base Camp. Great spot with a friendly bar lady. We parked up, plugged in, then hit the bar for bangers and mash. Best sausages in NZ is the word on the street. Showers look good with nice clean toilets. Dump stations and water fill up. Located right across the street from 4 Square.

Great little camp site.
Rock pads for the motor homes and grass spots for the tents. Snuggled up against some bush it is nice and quiet. Toilets, showers, laundry and cook room are nice and clean. Electrical and water located beside the camper spots. Dump station is handy if you need it. Only 10 minutes from Nugget Point. Could walk to the beach if you wanted to.

Awesome spot.
Right across the road from a beautiful beach. Dairy and burger joint right next door. Large camping spots. We rocked up just after Labor Day which I’m guessing was very busy. Great showers, toilets and cooking facilities. The laundry is $2 for a wash cycle and $2 for drying. May stay another night.

Very good camp spot.
Just across the road from the sandy beach (still a 4 minute walk). The showers and toilets in our block were fantastic. Great BBQ and kitchen area. Grass or concrete pads available. Great spot.

Looked like a brand new facility.
The kitchen is awesome. The showers are awesome. The toilets are awesome and the community room is nice and comfy. $80 for the camper but being able to wake up and be 2 minutes from the Miter Peak view is worth every penny. Great sites and power boxes. Beautiful spot.

Great spot.
Can walk everywhere from here. Clean showers, toilets and kitchen. Ate at the restaurant, which is also a great place to relax with in door and out door fire places. We had a good meal. The camp sites are gravel and set up great. Overall a great spot.
