Very friendly staff - got a lake front powered site when we asked.
Very nice and clean facilities. Need $1 coins for the showers and are given wifi codes. Heaps of sites and close to Wanaka.

Awesome spot - tight parking.
Very close to Mt John and hot pools. Didn’t need to go to the hot pools because the showers are amazing!!! About $50 for 2 at powered site - make sure you have heating - freezing when we were there.

Helpful and friendly staff - even when we rocked up late and without booking.
Very peaceful and awoke to loud birdsong which was cool. Facilities are a bit dated and smelly but serve a purpose. Beautiful sunrise views.

Obviously used to be bigger...
would definitely recommended getting there at 5pm. Tight parking on the lake front (room for about 5 vehicles) room for about 5 more parking around the edges. Great view of mountains and lake. Very windy spot. Free - can’t complain. No facilities.

Amazing sunrise views.
I think there was a toilet there but we didn’t use any of the facilities. Great directions on this site - we arrived at 8:30pm and found it easy enough. Would definitely recommend.
