It’s a car park on a main highway (aka it’s noisy with trucks at night) but it’s a great place to stop before or after the Arthur’s Pass.
Be sure to support local and grab a coffee before you hit the road in the morning

It’s expensive (all places in Queenstown are), but it’s the closest to town so a good option.
Feels a bit clinical with barriers and pin codes. It was busy on a not school holiday weeknight, would hate to imagine what it’s like in peak season.

The best place on the West Coast.
Stayed 1 night in a powered site. Hosts are friendly, setting is beautiful, restaurant food was great. Highly recommend if you’re staying 1 night or a week.

It’s literally a park on the outskirts of Wanaka, but for $10per adult it’s much cheaper than holiday parks in Wanaka (albeit not a powered site)
