Due to a last minute decision to take the Doubtful Sound all day cruise required that we find a powered site for the night.
Nice park directly across the main road from the Lake Te Anau. Clean showers, kitchen and toilet areas. The drive the following day to Milford Sound was easy. Don't miss the sunset over the lake-awesome!!

Very nice farm area in the middle of nowhere.
Peace and quiet! Nice, friendly owner when checked in. Seemed to be inexpensive at first for the two of us, $10 pp plus $10 for powered site. Once you include the pay showers (now $2/5 minutes), this quickly became the same price as many of the Holiday parks. Decently clean showers and toilet. As stated, kitchen has a microwave. Close to Nugget Point Lighthouse for those stunning sunrise photos.

Nice, quiet park in town.
Exceptionally clean kitchen facilities, toilet rooms and showers. Very friendly staff. Close to cheese shop and cafes right around the corner.

Campervan stop for one night. Great front row spot with view and sound of sea. Great short walk 2 minutes walk from camp to local pub.

Nice, clean facilities within a short walk of CBD.
Parking is expensive in Queenstown, so this is a nice alternative. Clean kitchen, toilets and showers. We had a powered site across from the kitchen- good location. Lots to do in Queenstown, so we stayed two nights. Easy access to all of the great adventure activities. I heard that if you sign up with the park, they will pick you up there.

Wonderful location!
Close to everything you need in Milford Sound. You can book cruises and kayaks first thing in the morning prior to all the tourists that show up for the early arvo services. Very clean facilities- showers, toilets and kitchen. Very large and comfy community room. The star gazing is awesome and the river is just outside of the property. No dump station here, but there is one close to the marina. Pay attention to the driving times from Te Anau to here. Plan to avoid the bus departures from Te Anau around 10 am. There are some fairly steep ups and downs around the tunnel, just take your time. Downshift and save your brakes.

Very remote location-Loved it!
Much more from this DOC campground than we expected. Cold, filtered water is available for washing and drinking. Long drops were clean. Large, communal area to gather. Very nice lodge about 2 km away with all the amenities you need. Showers here (pay) but we left before we were able to review. Great drive to get here- stop at Peter's lookout at the head of the lake for fantastic views of Mt. Cook. We had a clear, cloud free day and the views were stunning. Hope you do too!

Great location.
Lots of construction going on at present, so a bit noisy. In all fairness, their listing indicated this and we knew it going in. Nice, level powered site overlooking the lake. Very clean facilities - showers, toilet and communal kitchen. Nice bbq grills outside. About a 20 min. walk back into town and the Church of the Good Shepard. Fantastic cafe in town - Greedy Cow. Had a top notch croque madame and coffee for brekkie.

Basic property here in West Invercargill.
Nice, friendly reception. We had a site close to the facilities. Kitchen and community room is shared with the permanent residents. Kitchen hobs didn't heat too well. Didn't feel too comfortable, so we stayed the night and left as soon as we could next morning. On a positive note, check out Industry cafe - great, off the beaten path location. Have brekkie with the tradies. Great food and coffee.

Great clean park with the powered site we needed.
Last minute decision to stay in Oamaru and very glad we did. Lots of things to do and see here. Very clean showers, toilet and kitchen. Would stay again.
