Had the best 5 weeks travelling the south island in our NextOne camper!
Really couldn't fault the van or the customer service.
I researched hard and a big win for Next is the queen sized bed, which is rare to find amongst the smaller campers, as my partner is 6ft 5 and it was so comfortable. Nice plush duvet and pillows, extra blanket and a heater for colder nights. It was also very straight forward to convert to lounge/dining area, within a couple of minutes to make the bed and less time to pack it up and can do it all within the van staying dry if it is raining.
The storage was really smart so we could hide away bags and keep dirty boots separate in the back.
Everything you could want for a kitchen and gas/water didn't run out after a 5 week trip.
Driving was really easy as it wasn't too big.
Communication was easy and prompt and they picked us up from the airport and dropped us at our accommodation on the way back. We had no issues with the van but they would be ready to fix any problems to make your trip the best.
Definitely ticks all the boxes and the best value for money.

We stayed on easter weekend and really didn't enjoy our stay.
We were on a site with a cut through to the facilities so not at all private, the powered sites didn't have enough power points so lots of cables running around. The facilities were the worst we've had in our 5 week trip. It was busy but they should be able to cater for the numbers. The toilets and showers filthy, muddy and standing in a pool of muddy water getting changed is not ideal. The water tasted horrid and I felt unwell after drinking it. The staff were lovely but over worked having to run the busy restaurant/cafe and reception. They need to invest in this place to get away with charging so much for so many people to stay.

Beautiful campsite, really back to basics, able to park overlooking the beach for stunning views.
Great surfing beach, nice chilled out vibes even though was fairly busy on easter monday and saw a sea lion on the beach. Basic long drop toilet, no locks on 2 out of 3 but did have toilet paper. Untreated water good enough for cooking but not nice to drink so advise bringing some fresh water.

We loved this campsite.
We asked for a lake view and got one of the sites at the top with a great view of the lake. Paid $54/night and the facilities were clean, hot showers for free, 1GB wifi for free, music playing in the kitchen and bathrooms was a nice touch. We went out of season so wasn't too busy. Would stay again.

Kevin welcomed us in despite not booking and showed us around.
The facilities are warm, comfortable, homely and immaculately clean. Great shower. We stayed at a powered site for 1 night. In the morning we purchased some fresh eggs from the property with the honesty box system in place, felt really homely and welcoming. Highly recommend, couldn't fault the place or owners.

Stayed a night here either side of the Queen Charlotte Track walk and loved it.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating to us arriving late and leaving late the morning after our walk when we couldn't quite get out of bed in time after QCT! The place is lovely and it was peaceful and not too busy when we were there in March. Nice hot showers and hair dryer in the bathrooms free of charge. A walk to The Jolly Rodger pub for fish and chips is a must!

Such a great campervan site and great value for money.
We paid $35/night and loved it so much stayed 3 nights instead of the 2 we had planned. The sites are private and surrounded by bush with free hot showers, hair dryer and GHDs available to use. There is a cute "nature walk" to the reception and restaurant. The place is right opposite the hot pools making for a very relaxing stay.

Amazing unpowered camper site right on the beach, we could back our camper up, open the door and enjoy the beach and sea view.
The facilities are modern and clean with a lounge, kitchen and separate shower/toilet blocks.

Had a great week away in the generation 1 sleepervan.
We were a bit worried about it being too small as my partner is 6ft 5 but he fit in the bed fine and we had great nights sleep all week and the duvet and pillows are very warm and comfy. It is designed so well that every space is utilised and lots of thoughtful touches like bedside light, bedside USB charger, fairy lights, sink, chiller, utensils and salt/pepper/herbs. Looking at the newer generation sleepervans, the design and gadgets only gets better but gen 1 was great for our week away.
Best of all, Ina is fantastic, on hand for any queries or issues, positive and friendly.
