We visited off season so it was quiet and the showers were free although normally $1.
$69 for 2 adults 2 kids is the most we’ve paid on our trip, can imagine if it was busy you would be very crammed in on the sites. Facilities are clean, tidy and standard. Beautiful view.

This is a beautiful campsite about 15 minutes from town.
Drop toilets only which left a lot to be desired, water is boil before drinking and at our visit in winter it was $15/adult $7.50/youth. But you are paying for the view and the peace and it is worth it!

We paid $50 for 2 adults 2 children in our campervan off peak, plus spent $8 in coins for showers.
I don’t mind paying for facilities if it means they’re spotless and well kept but these are not, the $1 gives you 5 minutes and the countdown is outside the shower cubicle so not ideal. Reception staff were not as friendly as we’ve been used to in every other campground we’ve stayed. Weather was appalling but still a striking beautiful area. Powered campsites were awkwardly positioned with a central power outlet for 5 pitches, we had to park half in the pitch for our cable to reach the outlet, luckily the site was basically empty but would could foresee issues in busier season.

This was our first spot for freedom camping, fitted our 7m van on with room for another but not much more.
Absolutely beautiful view in the morning and quiet overnight. Flush toilet just through in the adjacent private car park but nothing fancy. The Carey Hotel opposite looked lovely and was quiet for a Friday night.
