Noisy and small as some commented but right on the beach, may be good for some.
I only stopped for the dump station and toilets for a little while and noticed some creepy people coming and going with dogs, what's going on there? Lol

Location is stunning, you stay steps away form the beach, with amazing sunrises in the morning.
The showers are warm and the toilets are clean, but the facilities are very basic. Above all wifi would be great, mainly when traveling alone this makes a big difference and there is no phone coverage in Gore bay (at least for Vodafone)

Nothing to complain really, complete kitchen, warm and great showers, great wifi, steps away from the beach and a good pub next door.
All that really close to Punakaiki, hikes, river kayaking, etc
