Had an overnight stay in a cabin here.
The price was very good, and the facilities and cabin were all clean and well maintained. The manager was very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stop here again. Great place with a nice relaxed atmosphere.

In Sept 12, I stayed 2 nights in a cabin.
The complimentary tea and coffee was a nice touch. The cabin,kitchen and ablutions were clean, and of a good standard. Great spot beside the beach, and handy to the city centre, but the noise from SH35 and the port was annoying at night. Good value for money, and the receptionist was pleasant and helpful.
In June 14, I stayed in an ensuite cabin. All the above still applies, except that although I was closer to SH35, there was no noticeable noise at night from traffic or the port.

I booked a "Scenic Room" for an overnight stay.
The room was well equipped, and good value for money. The facilities were clean and tidy, and the staff member I dealt with was very helpful and friendly, with good local knowledge.

Booked a standard cabin.
The staff were pleasant: the cabin, kitchen and ablutions were tidy and of a good standard. The camp is easy walking distance to Otorohanga CBD. Only drawback is the nearby busy road - noisy at night.

Had a mid-winter stopover in a standard cabin.
Arrived on the late ferry and the staff had put the lights and heater on in the cabin prior to my arrival - nice touch. Cabin tidy and well equipped, kitchen and ablutions tidy. Nice place, pretty bay close by, and handy to the ferry. Good value for money.

I had an overnight stay in a Chalet.
The receptionist was friendly, and exceptionally helpful. The chalet was clean, and had all the comforts of home, above and beyond what l expected ~ definitely the best value for money l've had anywhere.

Had a room in the lodge.
It was very clean and modern, and had good heating. Kitchen and ablutions were handy, and of a high standard. Hot pool was great! Staff were friendly and helpful. Good place to stay.
