Loved this campsite!!
What beautiful scenery to wake up to!!
Nice clean kitchen, warm bathroom facility, first campground that offered us a key for the family bathroom, made it so much easier!!!!
Walking distance to town, we had dinner at the fork and tap (delicious). Beautiful town with lots of little walkways/alleys!
Sites are pretty close together but it didn’t bother us and Park seems to be shared with the local domain/rugby club which didn’t bother the little dude at all, his main concern was lack of a slide.
FYI - showers did not cost, that seems to be a bit of a thread in other reviews...

The only reason I’m giving a 9 is because the spas were closed for maintenance and I was gutted otherwise what an awesome campsite!
Reading other reviews I saw there were issues with spacing but we found it fine, your not in each other’s laps and it looks pretty well thought out.
Best showers on our trip!!! Warm and toasty!! Kitchen was great with a selection of dvds and good set up for cooking.
Location, it’s not right in town but I believe they have a shuttle and otherwise had everything we needed.
They parked us by the little nippers playground and little dude had a ball on the slide.

We loved Fairlie, such cool people and great views!!
And make sure you have a pie from the pie shop all within a 5 minute walk from the campsite!
Campground was okay, basic, clean and functional. The fire place in the kitchen was a winner! More heating in the bathrooms would have been awesome, or even a mat to keep your bare feet from the freezing concrete especially with a toddler, husband felt a bit awkward hanging round the ladies to nab said toddler after his shower.

Location wise, this place was great in terms of walking into Queenstown.
Otherwise, pretty average. Wasn’t great being by the creek with a toddler, everything seemed quite dated and spaces are pretty tight. Price wasn’t to bad. Kitchen was a bit strange in terms of the two cookers are side by side so with two of us trying to cook we did a bit of elbow wrestling.
Otherwise perfectly usable if not massively child friendly.

We stopped in Omarama after deciding to skip Tekapo and Twizel, bit gutted the pools were closed but had an awesome meal at the local pub and the haberdashery was well worth a visit.
Campsite was super tidy and clean, again The bathroom heating was almost non existent and showers are 5 minutes so not great when trying to wash up with a toddler, in summer though we reckon it’d be smashing.
Lil dude was gutted he couldn’t play on the giant jumping pillow due to the frost but it looked awesome!!

Campground was fine, good showers, kitchen clean and tidy.
Not in town, so bit of a hill walk to get down there or a 3 minute drive.
Signposting to get there could be a bit better, you see a sign for camping but no campsite name, if you miss the turn just keep going there’s another turn at the bottom of the hill, also not named.
