Winter special 3 nights for $111 for 2 for a powered site (one night free) plus they allowed our wee dog if she was well behaved.
Best price in town. Excellent, modern facilities, free unlimited showers, free excellent unlimited wifi all within a few minutes walking distance to Fergburger (uphill on the way back though). Campers are on concrete but we asked to be shifted as we had a family of screamers beside us so went to a caravan site No 53 with no neighbours and wicked views. Definitely recommend at least during the off season. Love that the facilities are code locked so you just have to lean on the door and not have to touch anything on the way out.

Clean, quiet and tidy with concrete pads for campers.
Ablution block was lovely. Nicely decorated with free showera, modern and spacious with heater and nice big mirrors. 1gb data free. One of the nicer camps we’ve stayed at but is out of the way a bit. Note they did allow my small old dog but apparently are not dog friendly even though websites say they are.

Glad we turned around.
Cool self guided walk around the old miners huts then met up with Bruce who showed us lots of interesting stuff and how to pan for gold. We managed to find 3 pieces to take home. Well priced at $25 each.
