We paid extra for a cabin but found we had to pay $1 for a 5 minute shower, where as in the backpacker accomodation showers were free.
Also sheets were $5 extra for one very thin sheet - take a bed in the hostel.

A nice track opposite the Queen Charlotte Sound track.
Good to do if you don't have time to do the QC walk as the views are similiar, but it only takes 3-4 hours.

Good service, the drivers showed us as much as possible, rocks, seals, penguins.
They won't just abandon you, they have hearts:).

Fast and reliable however some drivers are a bit unfriendly (from Auckland to Wellington) and breaks are very hurried.
