The guided tour had too much explanation, so that there was hardly any time to visit buildings.
The demonstration of carving and weavng were finished. The meal (hangi) was very good, but not served as you would expect (too cliche).

The sites are not special, on gravel.
But you pay $20 for a powered site and you are in Wellington in 15 minutes (there you pay $50!) Close to the ferry.

ROAM is the name of the shuttle bus that took us from the campsite in Whakapapa to the walk and from the end of the walk to the campsite.
Was good, we were with only 2 others in the bus.

Clifton to Cape Kidnappers.
You go on a tractor along the beautiful rocks. Sometimes the tractor drives through the water, great fun!! At the end you see hundreds of gannets. Good explanation about the rocks and the birds.
