Clean, quiet.
Many sites but did not seem crowded. Can easily walk to town. NO VIEW, but very close to whale watch and train station. Restaurants across street.

Facilities rustic, but adequate. No dump site. Small store, 20-30min walk to Abel Tasman activities.

So far, very good.
We are only 1/3 of our way through rental. They were very accomodating after Christchurch earthquake, brought van to airport for us so we could sleep in it after our hotel had been damaged. Van seems very well outfitted.

Pricey, but we certainly got to see some sperm whales - laying on surface then diving.
Boat very roomy and well designed for job. Guides/staff knowledgable.

Expensive but worthwhile if you want to see seabirds.
Small boat and small group - so very good. Guide very knowledgable, enthusiastic. Saw all the birds we hoped to see.

Seals and remote coast trip.
Very well organised operation, small group for this challenging 10km kayaking trip. Would suggest for moderately to strong at least advanced beginner paddlers. Adrien was great guide!
