(Travelling with husband and two small kids) Absolutely stunning view, lovely campsite.
Nice DOC ranger with some good advice on how to be ‘accepted’ by the locals. Basic facilities, don’t expect much. Expect nature at its best and the reason why ‘free’ camping is so great.

Decent spot with reasonable toilets.
But expect a parking lot, not nature. Plenty of space but only few spots available for overnight camping.
