Immaculately clean and very friendly owners. The fish and chip shop in Geraldine is fantastic!

Gorgeous spot to camp.
The walk around the lake is really lovely and worth doing. Close to Queenstown so you get the wilderness and all the adrenalin and action of QT. A great combination.

Excellent facilities.
Clean and very modern and well kept. My kids loved the playground and massive bouncy castle thing! We really enjoyed a visit to Old Cromwell.

We were here for three nights and had a great stay.
This campsite is a little out of Wanaka. The location is fantastic, right on the lake. You are right beside a lovely lakeside DOC walk. The campsite is very green, with native bush. The sites are large and ours felt really private and secluded though a quick walk to the facilites. Great that there is no artificial lighting around the site at night. It feels very natural. Only you have the upside of the comforts of a good kitchen and hot showers. Glenn and Tracy are really friendly with good suggestions of things to do. We loved it here and ended up staying an extra night because we didn't want to leave!

Wilderness Motorhomes

We thought Wilderness were fantastic.
We had the smaller Dart 4 so were a bit pushed for space with two kids. But that was our choice, we were on a tight budget this time. On saying that the Dart was brilliant to drive, like a car and really economical on fuel. The interior was cleverly designed and we had everything we needed. Including a heater which was handy as it snowed in the mountains when we were there. We had lots of admiring comments from other drivers who assumed it was ours which was good fun. The service with Wilderness is fantastic. Very friendly and down to earth. Robbie is a hero in my boys eyes. He even managed to remain good humoured when he had to come back to the airport and pick up the van keys we'd fogotten to leave at base! Highly recommended!

An old fashioned camping site, without all the trimmings of a Top Ten.
But lovely, natural surroundings. And my kids absolutely loved feeding the animals with Keith. Something special.

Really recommend this company.
Such fantastic, friendly service. Everyone was great from the guy who picked us up in the shuttle bus to the person who checked over our car. Clear communication with no hidden extras loaded on like the big brand hire car companies. Car drove really well and was so much cheaper than competitors based at the airport. Don't be put off by the fact they aren't within airport terminal. Shuttle service is terrific and friendly staff and price make up for that tiny inconvenience.
