Charming camp site!
It's easy to find, you just have to drive the Rangitata Huts Road to the end. Then to the camping ground. At some point there is a place where many campers stand, the office is signposted there. We were greeted so warmly by the camp mum. She is a gold piece. We were allowed to take herbs from the garden to cook. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Shower ($2 for hot) and toilets are in perfect order and decorated with fresh flowers. Really nice. The place is in private hands. Who expects a Top10 Park is wrong there. It is rustic and you get in contact with the permanent campers 😍 we thank Shorty again for the fresh fish ❤ we were immediately part of a campsite family 😍 the sea is once over the small access road. Do not swim! There is always a shark seen. And thanks again for the scons at 12 o'clock. That was such a funny round. Thank you for welcoming us so openly ❤

Here at Beachhaven Camping it is super quiet.
Totally relaxed. Close to the beach. Sufficient
Number of showers and toilets. Clean and tidy. Very nice people. Dog-friendly. Small and cozy. Not very busy (February). We stayed directly one night longer to just relax on the beach and clean the camper again ❤

Very large camp site.
For me personally it was too loud and too crowded. But that is surely a matter of opinion. It was usually clean and tidy. In my opinion too few sanitary facilities, which have seen better times.
