My partner and I really enjoyed this campsite.
We paid $20 pp for a powered site. Kitchen and showers were relatively clean but what you would expect at any campsite. It also has a little common space with games and tables etc. Has a nice vibe and lots of travellers so good to make friends. The campsite is about 20 min walk from town flat and very easy with a supermarket on the way. Overall a great place to stay for a few nights while you’re in Queenstown

Stayed here our first night in NZ after going to Hobbiton as it was close.
Payed $25 pp for a powered sight which we realised later was too expensive for what we got. Has a toilet and a shower that is pretty disgusting.Theres a pub attached to the motel that looked pretty locals only and there was a guy in a Rav 4 that was fanging around. Kitchen was not very well kept but usable. Free hot spring was pretty cool though. Reception has free wifi. Overall okay stop if youve been to Hobbiton but I’d probably go somewhere else

As I’m sure you’ve worked out there are not many camping places in Wellington.
This one is perfect for a quick stay before you hop on the ferry. It may just be a carpark but the facilities are well kept and clean. The shower is HOT which is a bonus. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, they supplied free wifi, a map and lots of suggestions on where to go in the city. This place is perfectly situated as it is only a 10-15 min bus ride to the city which costs $5 each way. Overall a very pleasant stay!
