Large campsite with good facilities and helpful staff.
Lots of ducks and chickens which came over to say hello!

We did a day trip with sea kayaks which was good fun - the right length of time on the water.
We got to see a good stretch of the coastline but were not too bored.

We did a half day wine tour with Sounds Connection out of Picton and visited 4 wineries.
Good fun and the guide taught us a lot about the wine industry and local area.

We have found the commentary on board the couple of buses we have taken really interesting - almost like a tour thrown in!

We walked the track in three days rather than four.
Amazing views along the way and Eatwells lookout is worth the climb.

Decent self contained cabins close to town centre and staff helpfully arranged a tour for us while we were walking Queen Charlotte track.
