Nice spot near a nice beach!
Away from traffic. I arrived early thinking it would be busy, but there was still plenty of room until the early evening. Short walk to the toilets. No shower. (February 2020)

Not a bad spot if the other two in town are full.
Lots of space for vans. I arrived around 5PM and there was still plenty of room. Not the most scenic location, but it’s fine. The toilets are about a 6 minute walk away. Tairua is a super cute town to visit. Feels safe.

Quite busy and noisy around the main camping area.
Toilets are nice and clean. If you have your own toilet facility, drive down the shore a bit to a beautiful, quiet area to camp.

Absolutely beautiful spot.
One of the best freedom camping sites I’ve stayed at. Scenic beach, flush toilets, quiet, tons of room. Would absolutely recommend.

Nice spot, very close to the nearby homes.
Toilets were clean and modern. Outdoor cold shower. All spots were full February 2020 (maybe 5 or 6 vehicles in total).

Nice spot!
Please note that the camping area is slightly more East than shown on the map. Just next to the toilets. Lots of room for several vans. There were only 3 of us when I stayed, but there appears to be room for at least 2 or 3 more (if organized well). Flushing toilets, picnic tables, located right next to the beach.

Earl Adams Paradise Camp

Earl is a very welcoming a kind host.
The campsite is situated overlooking the water with a great view. The facilities are portable toilets and outdoor cold showers. For $20 for one camper, I felt this was far too expensive for what I got. Nice location, but the facilities leave something to be desired.
